We are leaving two slices of bread in the same location but one that has not touched any surface and another that has. We used the carpet, the goalposts outside, the toilet seat and even our own feet to test how much bacteria will spread! Which surface do you think will produce the most mould on the bread?!

Our class book is 'The Boy at the Back of the Class' by Onjali Q Rauf. This is the story about how one ordinary nine-year-old child and three classmates are full of empathy for Ahmet, a boy that comes to their school as a refugee from Syria. It has been an excellent read and we have learnt a lot from this book!
